I am the founder and CEO of Howdy.com, where US companies build embedded, full time engineering teams with the best technical talent in Latin America. I started the company in 2018 because I saw something the industry refused to see: the talent question was never about geography. It was about time zones, trust, and how you treat people.
We do it differently. Our engineers are full time teammates, not bodies on a bench. They work from Howdy Houses, real physical spaces we operate in cities across Latin America, because community and belonging are not perks. They are the product.
I identified a critical gap in the pipeline for recruiting, scaling, and retaining world-class engineering talent for US tech companies, and I solved it by creating Howdy.com. My approach goes beyond the outdated outsourcing, agency, and do-it-yourself hiring models that too often fail founders. The Howdy way emphasizes excellence, infrastructure, and an unwavering commitment to people. I am a graduate of Y Combinator's W21 batch, and my work has been featured in TechCrunch, Forbes, and Business Insider.
Today I live in Austin with my family, six kids and all, and on weekends you will find me at our ranch outside town with our fifteen longhorns and the chickens. I am proof that you can think in hemispheres and still be deeply from somewhere.
